Sleeping...

So cute! Notice...they're aren't any of Ethan! It just doesn't happen very often...with Jacob on the other hand...he's always falling asleep - in the car, eating, standing up...

I had to just add the dogs because I thought it was funny they both used the human pillow as a bed, at totally different times. Spoiled I know...but they're so cute!

Jacob is ONE!!!!

I can't believe my baby is one! The year has gone far too fast. I can still hear my friend Carmen saying, "has Jacob had his tummy time today?" I owe it to her he ever got tummy time and learned to crawl! LOL Seriously, the year has flown by, faster than the first year with Ethan. Jacob is walking like a pro, learning his first signs and sprouting teeth faster than I can enter in his book. (not sure if I'm even caught up on that...guess I'll have to make it up)!
He was a champ at his birthday party. Took a good nap before and then woke up ready to party. He loved his pizza, loved his cake (once he figured out he could touch it), loved his gifts (with a little guidance on how to put one gift down and move onto the next one). He crashed hard after his party and still slept another 12 hours that night. He's SO like his Daddy...that party wore Tim and Jacob out. Ethan on the other hand...stayed up and cuddled with me, talking my ear off. I had to finally cut it off at 930 and send him to bed where he finally went to sleep. We love party's!!! :)
Jacob had a great turn out and it was a beautiful day. Thank you to everyone who came and helped to celebrate his first big birthday! We love you all!!!

Fun in the snow

Our neighbors were sweet and bought the cutest little shovel for their grandkids and Ethan to use. They has seen him helping Daddy shovel one time, using his tiny sand shovel. Ethan was SO excited to get to use the new, just-his-size shovel. He did a VERY good job of getting the drive-way clear so Daddy didn't have to when he got home. The funny thing is the snow was melting across the street...but because we face north...ours always needs help getting cleared. Anyway, I have a hard worker on my hands!! SO cute.

Happy Valentine's Day!

We had to go see Daddy. I took Ethan to see Daddy on his first Valentine's Day...so it was only right that Jacob get to do the same. (Actually his first was here at home, 3 days old...so Daddy wasn't at work). Anyway, we had fun with him but he was very busy...so we couldn't stay long. Daddy was sweet and brought mommy roses that night. VERY rare that I get roses on the actual day...but Tim decided to splurge and mommy was very grateful. :) (Ethan was taking the pictures of me and the roses...at least he got the roses in the picture!)
